What’s a movie you expected to hate but ended up loving?

I won’t torture myself with bad movies anymore. Like the B movies with very bad dialogue and equally bad acting. These are especially prevalent in horror movies, or should I say “horrible” movies. Where clueless teenagers sit around talking nonsense, have the obligatory sex scene, walk right toward the strange noise, and don’t have the common sense to turn on the light or pick up a weapon to defend themselves! I don’t expect a movie to be bad and sit through it. 

And I won’t torture myself with boring movies just because they are considered classics. Nor movies that are 3 hours long. I tried watching the original Star Wars 4 times and fell asleep within a few minutes each time. I know it sounds like sacrilege to Star Wars fans. Sorry.
