Short Stories, Poetry, and more

Hello Welcome!

As I approached permanent retirement, I began to ask myself many questions: Am I too old to do things? Am I too young to retire? What do I want to do for the rest of my life?

You see, I’ve been working since I was 14 years old. Now, at 68, I’m going on an emotional roller coaster, trying to decide whether to stay retired or return to a type of work that is not necessarily familiar to me. I want something different, new!

I have realized that family, friends, food, and fun are essential to me. Therefore, this blog is dedicated to all of us baby boomers asking ourselves, “Now what?”

Come and share with me some of your thoughts and ideas; I will share mine with you.

You can teach an old dog new tricks, so be bold and reinvent yourself. You are never too old to learn something new.

Be kind to others; we are all in the same boat, trying to navigate the rough waters of Samsara (life), be happy, and stay satisfied.

Unleash your passions; if not now, when?
