What’s the best and worst airport you’ve been to?

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) was one of the busiest, most overwhelming, and longest-walking airports I’ve ever been through. By contrast, one of the smallest airports I’ve visited was Flagstaff. I’m the kind of person who gets anxious at Costco on a busy day, so too much hustle and bustle is not for me. For that reason, Atlanta ranks as my least favorite airport. One of my favorites, though, was Madrid, Spain. It was busy too, but it had character. I loved watching the Spanish flight attendants sweep through the airport with flair and flowing capes, as if they were part of a high-fashion show. Flagstaff was small but memorable in its own way; I once watched officers transport a criminal onto the plane.

I only remember Madrid for how long it was between terminals. The train took so long to get me to the correct terminal that I had to do a Love Actually sprint to the boarding gate!
