What’s a moment when a stranger completely restored your faith in people?
I am surrounded by kindness. My best friend always has faith in me and encourages me on a daily basis. I don’t know where I’d be without her. I also have faith in people who have been helpful without asking for anything in return.
I remember once, just simply saying I was hot at a car repair place and the mechanic getting me a cold soda. Such a tiny gesture, and so kind.
I want to thank the Embera Native who help me navigate the rocky path through the river in Panama Rainforest. I was terrified and he was so gentle and reassuring.
I want to thank the truck driver who pulled over to help me change a tire in, I was so nervous.
