Daily writing prompt
If you had to give one life-changing tip, what would it be?


Never stop learning. You can teach an old dog new tricks. In fact, it is good for senior citizens to keep learning and replace some of those shriveled brain cells with fresh ones. That is why I am taking a college course and challenging myself to keep up with the young whipper-snappers. I’ll turn the big 70 at the end of this month. At 60, I studied nursing and passed with flying colors. Can I remember where I left my keys? Yes. Why did I come into the room? Not always; it might take me a minute. What’s his name? I have to work through the cobwebs, but it is in there. That is why I also recommend puzzles, Word Search, Crossword, and Sudoku. My friend, who is 79 this year, is studying Spanish and challenging herself. One of the best things you can do is learn a new language. Talk about a brain-cell workout!
